MYBUDDY is the male AI bull persona of Stampede.Dance. He answers member questions about dances, events, venues, song requests, and the dancehall experience in real time. He learns the venue you're signed into and tailors every answer to that location.

How To Use It:

  1. 1Tap the venue logo at the top of the app (or open the menu and pick MYBUDDY).
  2. 2Type your question in the chat box — for example, "What time does the lesson start tonight?" or "How do I two-step?"
  3. 3Press Send. MYBUDDY answers in a few seconds.
  4. 4If MYBUDDY is unsure, he passes your question to staff — you don't need to do anything extra.
  5. 5Come back any time. MYBUDDY remembers the venue you're signed into so his answers always match your location.

Staff Escalations Inbox

Questions MYBUDDY can't answer route straight to staff.

When MYBUDDY can't confidently answer a member question, it's routed to the Staff Escalations inbox so a human can follow up. This keeps the member experience seamless while ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

How To Use It:

  1. 1Open the Escalations link from the staff menu.
  2. 2You'll see a list of questions MYBUDDY could not answer, with the member's name and venue.
  3. 3Read the question, then type your answer and mark it Resolved.
  4. 4Resolved answers can be added to MYBUDDY's knowledge so he handles it next time.
  5. 5Check back regularly so no member is left waiting.

Venue TV & Projector Live Feed

Full-screen live display for venue TVs showing Now Playing, Up Next queue & live DJ announcements.

Built for floor screens and projectors. Displays the active dance with difficulty badges, upcoming queued requests, and live broadcasts from the DJ booth so dancers stay in the loop across the room.

How To Use It:

  1. 1On the venue TV or projector, open a web browser and go to the app's /tv address.
  2. 2The screen shows the current song, the dance that goes with it, and what's coming up next.
  3. 3Leave it full-screen — it updates on its own as the DJ plays songs.
  4. 4DJ announcements and competition notices also pop up here automatically.
  5. 5No clicking needed once it's open — just let it run for the night.

Live DJ Requests

Request songs to the live DJ queue in real time.

Members search the song catalog and submit requests straight to the DJ's live queue. The DJ sees requests come in, can reorder them, and mark them as played. It keeps the floor packed with the songs people actually want to dance to.

How To Use It:

  1. 1Tap DJ Requests in the menu (or Request on mobile).
  2. 2Type a song or artist name in the search bar.
  3. 3Pick the song you want from the results.
  4. 4Tap Request to send it to the DJ's queue.
  5. 5Watch the status — it updates from Queued to Playing when the DJ spins it.

Song Catalog Search

Instant search of danceable songs with matching line dances.

A searchable catalog of country-western and line-dance songs. Each entry shows the matching dance, BPM, and difficulty so members can find the right song for the right dance.

How To Use It:

  1. 1Open DJ Requests from the menu.
  2. 2Type a song title, artist, or dance name in the search bar.
  3. 3Results show the song, its matching line dance, the tempo (BPM), and a difficulty rating.
  4. 4Tap a result to request it, or just use it to discover new dances.

Aggregate crowd wishlists & 'I Know This!' live claims on the DJ Booth.

The DJ Booth shows a live HUD of what the crowd wants to hear and which songs members already know how to dance to. This helps the DJ read the room and pick songs that get the most people on the floor.

How To Use It:

  1. 1Open the DJ Portal from the staff menu.
  2. 2The Crowd HUD panel shows the top wishlisted songs and how many people know each dance.
  3. 3Use it to pick your next song — higher 'I Know This' counts mean a fuller floor.
  4. 4The list updates live as members add wishes or claim dances.

Weekly dance events, classes, and theme nights by venue.

A full month calendar of every event across the network — lessons, social dances, live bands, and theme nights. Filter by venue to see what's happening at your home dancehall, or browse the whole network.

How To Use It:

  2. 2Use the arrows to move between months.
  3. 3Tap any event to see its time, location, and details.
  4. 4Use the venue filter to show only your home venue's events.

Run-of-show engine, SVG floor-plan mapper, staff assignments & live cue execution.

A full ops suite for executing events: build a run-of-show timeline, map the floor plan with drag-and-drop zones, assign staff to stations, and fire live cues during the event. Admins, Managers, DJs, and Planners each see the views relevant to their role.

How To Use It:

  1. 1Open Event Ops from the staff menu, then go to the Ops Dashboard.
  2. 2Create a new event ops record for the night you're running.
  3. 3Open the Run-of-Show to build your timeline — add cues like 'doors open', 'lesson', 'last call'.
  4. 4Open the Floor Plan to drag zones (bar, stage, door) onto the map and assign staff.

Dance trading cards, mastery deck, belt-buckle badges & leaderboards.

The Arena turns dancing into a game. Members collect digital dance trading cards, build a mastery deck, earn belt-buckle badges for milestones, and climb venue leaderboards. It rewards showing up, learning new dances, and leveling up.

How To Use It:

  1. 1Tap Arena in the menu.
  2. 2Browse your collected dance trading cards and mastery deck.
  3. 3Check the leaderboards to see how you rank against other members at your venue.
  4. 4Earn belt-buckle badges by checking in, learning dances, and hitting milestones.

Venue-Unlock (Geofenced)

Free step sheets access at partner venues, subscription prompt elsewhere.

When a member is physically at a partner venue, the full dance step sheet library unlocks for free. Away from a venue, a subscription prompt appears. It drives foot traffic into the dancehalls.

How To Use It:

  1. 1Open the StepVault from the menu.
  2. 2If you're at a partner venue, all step sheets are free to read — no action needed.
  3. 3If you're away from a venue, you'll see a prompt to subscribe for full access.
  4. 4Head to any partner venue and the library unlocks automatically when you arrive.

Bounty Hunter Mode

Monthly featured bounty dances with bar-tab rewards.

Each month a featured 'bounty' dance is announced. Members who learn and check in performing it earn bar-tab rewards. It creates a shared monthly goal across the network.

How To Use It:

  1. 1Open the Arena to see this month's featured bounty dance.
  2. 2Learn the dance using its step sheet in the StepVault.
  3. 3Check in at the venue and let staff know you're performing the bounty dance.
  4. 4Earn your bar-tab reward once staff confirms it.

Weekend Warrior Streaks

Track consecutive weekend dancehall check-ins for streak rewards.

Members build streaks by checking in on consecutive weekends. Longer streaks unlock bigger rewards and badges. It rewards loyalty and repeat visits.

How To Use It:

  1. 1Check in at your venue using the Door QR Check-In on a weekend.
  2. 2Come back the next weekend and check in again to extend your streak.
  3. 3View your current streak on your Profile and in the Arena.
  4. 4Hit milestone weekends to unlock streak badges and rewards.

The Arcade — Live Step Tracking

Hit the Floor live step counter, real-time leaderboards, combo streaks & milestone badges.

The Arcade turns the dancefloor into a live game. Hit the Floor to start a session and track your steps in real time. Climb the daily, weekly, and all-time venue leaderboards, build combo streaks (3 nights in a row unlocks a 1.5× multiplier), and earn milestone badges like Marathon Dancer and Floor Legend. Join instructor class codes to lock steps to a lesson, and MYBUDDY alerts the Admin when a dancer overtakes a rival on the leaderboard.

How To Use It:

  1. 1Tap Arcade in the menu.
  2. 2Pick a dance from the StepVault or the song currently playing.
  3. 3Tap Hit the Floor to start your session — your steps count live.
  4. 4If you're in a class, enter the instructor's class code to lock your steps to the lesson.

A growing library of line dances presented as rich album-art cards. Album cover artwork is auto-fetched from iTunes for every song and artist, so each dance card shows the real cover of the track it's danced to — no blank covers. Browse Featured and Trending rails, sort by popularity, difficulty, steps, or walls, and filter by level. Open any dance for its full step sheet (counts, walls, restarts, tags), alternate songs, a 30-second Apple Music preview, a Listen on Apple Music link, and a rich preview card for any external stepsheet link (showing the source page's image, title, description, and favicon). Like and share dances, and explore choreographer profiles to discover more of their work.

How To Use It:

  1. 1Tap StepVault in the menu.
  2. 2Scroll the Featured and Trending rails at the top to see curated and popular dances — each card shows the song's real album cover.
  3. 3Use the Sort chips (Popular, Difficulty, Steps, Walls, A–Z) and Level filters to narrow the grid.

How To Use It:

How To Use It:

  2. 2The dashboard links to every section — Events, Venues, StepVault, Gamification, Foodie, Staff, and more.
  3. 3In each section, use Add to create, the pencil to edit, and the toggle to enable/disable.

Venue Layout & Table Reservations

See the live floor plan, check table availability, and reserve a spot — management approves every request.

The Venue Layout shows a top-down map of the dancehall with every zone — dance floor, stage, bars, VIP areas, and tables — color-coded with real-time capacity. Members tap any reservable table to request a reservation for a specific night and party size. The request goes straight to management for approval; members see the status update in 'My Reservations.' Managers publish floor plans, approve or deny table requests, mark parties as seated, and watch live capacity fill up zone by zone from the Venue Layout Manager.

How To Use It:

  1. 1Open the app and tap 'Venue Layout' from the menu (or the Staff & Admin Tools menu).
  2. 2Look at the floor plan — each table shows how many seats are open right now.
  3. 3Tap a table (or VIP area) that says 'Available' to start a reservation.
  4. 4Pick the date, your party size, and add a note if it's a special occasion.
  5. 5Tap 'Request Reservation.' Your request goes to management for approval.
  6. 6Check 'My Reservations' to see when your table is approved, seated, or completed.

An on-app video creation engine auto-generates short training shorts for every feature in the catalog. Each short walks you through what a feature does, how to use it step-by-step,, and where to find it — all in about 60 seconds. Watch them in the Feature Use hub before features roll out.

How To Use It:

  1. 1Tap Training in the menu to open the Feature Use hub.
  2. 2Browse the list of short training videos — one per feature.
  3. 3Tap a video to play it. It walks you through the feature in about 60 seconds.
  4. 4Watch before a new feature rolls out so you're ready to use it.

Each member has a profile with their digital pass, scannable QR code, weekend streaks, collected belt-buckle badges, and trading card collection. It's the member's home base in the app.

How To Use It:

  2. 2Your digital pass and QR code show at the top — show this at the door to check in.
  3. 3Scroll to see your weekend streaks, collected badges, and trading cards.
  4. 4Use the Set Up Your Member Pass section to add your photo, favorite dances, and payment info.

Stampede.Dance is a unified network of country-western dancehalls. Members switch between venues from the header dropdown, and each venue shows its own logo, events, staff, and menu. New venues join the network seamlessly.

How To Use It:

  1. 1Tap the venue switcher in the top bar.
  2. 2Pick another venue to switch your view — its logo, events, and staff update instantly.
  3. 3Locked venues show a Join the Waitlist option instead of instant access.
  4. 4Tap Join the Waitlist to request membership at that venue — the Admin approves it.
  5. 5Once approved, you'll see both venues when you sign in.

60-second vibe checks with star ratings, NPS & open text — earn rewards for your feedback.

MYBUDDY randomly invites guests to a quick feedback survey after their visit. Rate the music, drinks, staff, and cleanliness with stars, give a Net Promoter Score, and leave an open comment. Completing it earns Arena XP and a Foodie scratch-and-win pass. Low scores alert the Admin (via MYBUDDY in Comms) — no apology voucher is sent automatically; the Admin decides.

How To Use It:

  1. 1If you're invited, tap Surveys in the menu to start.
  2. 2Rate each category (music, drinks, staff, cleanliness) with stars.
  3. 3Give a Net Promoter Score — how likely you are to recommend us.

Pool Table & Equipment Reservations

Reserve a pool table with linked ball sets & cue sticks — real-time slots, QR desk pass & live floor monitor.

Members reserve a pool table and the system auto-bundles the linked equipment (1 ball set + 2 cue sticks) using a strict 3-way asset dependency so nothing gets double-booked. Each slot includes an automated 10-minute turnover buffer for staff sanitization and ball racking. Members get a QR desk pass; front-desk staff scan it, assign physical gear, and watch a live floor monitor with countdown timers and overdue turnover alerts.

How To Use It:

  1. 1Tap Billiards in the menu.
  2. 2Pick a table from the top-down pool table map.
  3. 3Choose your date and time slot — available slots show in green.
  4. 4The system auto-adds a ball set and two cue sticks to your booking.

Community Feed & Social

Follow dancers, instructors & DJs, share photos and clips, tag dances, like & comment on posts.

The Community Feed is the social heart of the dancehall. Every member gets an @handle and a public profile. Follow dancers, instructors, DJs, and choreographers to build your 'Your Feed' timeline. Share photos and short clips with captions, tag a dance from the StepVault (deep-links right to the step sheet), or tag an event from the calendar. Like and comment on posts from your dancehall community. A Discover tab shows every post from your active venue so you never miss what's happening on the floor.

How To Use It:

  1. 1Tap 'Community Feed' in the menu under Community & Account.
  2. 2On the 'Your Feed' tab you'll see posts from people you follow. Switch to 'Discover' to see every post at your active venue.
  3. 3To share something, type a caption in the composer bar at the top, optionally paste an image or video URL, and tag a dance (like 'Copperhead Road').
  4. 4Tap the heart on any post to like it, and tap the speech bubble to read or add comments.
  5. 5Tap 'Follow' on any author's post (or in the Suggested to Follow card) to add them to Your Feed.
  6. 6Tagged dances link straight to the StepVault step sheet so people can learn the dance you posted about.

An editorial blog and announcements hub. Staff publish articles with cover images, categories, and venue scope (network-wide or a single venue). Members browse the hub, filter by category, read full articles, and discover related reads. Each article tracks view counts for the Admin.

How To Use It:

  1. 1Tap Blog & News in the menu under Community & Account.
  2. 2Browse featured and recent articles, or filter by category (Announcement, Lesson Tips, DJ Spotlight, etc.).
  3. 3Tap any article to read it in full — cover image, body, tags, and related reads.

A unified search hub. Type anything — a dance name, song, artist, dancer handle, event, staff member, article, or venue — and Discover returns grouped results across the entire platform. With no query, it shows featured dances, the latest blog articles, and dancers to follow.

How To Use It:

  1. 1Tap Discover in the menu under Community & Account.
  2. 2Type your search and press Enter (or tap Search).
  3. 3Results group by type — Dances, Songs, Events, Dancers & Staff, Posts, Articles, Venues.

Public Dancer & Staff Profiles

Public @handle profile pages with bio, follow stats, post grid & choreographed dances.

Every dancer, instructor, DJ, and staff member with a community @handle gets a public profile page. It shows their bio, role badge, follower/following counts, their feed posts, and — for choreographers — the StepVault dances attributed to their handle. Members follow directly from the profile.

How To Use It:

  1. 1Tap any dancer's name or @handle in the Community Feed, Discover, or a blog article.
  2. 2Their profile opens showing bio, follow stats, and posts.
  3. 3Tap Follow to add them to your 'Your Feed' timeline.
  4. 4If they're a choreographer, their attributed dances list below — tap one to open its step sheet.
  5. 5Staff profiles show their role badge (DJ, Manager, Admin).
